ABOUT US

Material Consult has been active as a developer and retailer of orthopedic shoes for over 30 years and today we deliver shoes all over the Nordic region! Through close collaboration with manufacturers and users, we can today proudly offer 100 different shoe models in several different lastes, for all ages, purposes and seasons! Material Consult is a family business located in Sundsvall, run by the Marsh Törnberg family.The company was founded based on a wish from Sture Marsh, who was a talented orthopedic engineer who devoted his whole life to helping children and young people in particular. Sture considered that there was far too little a range of quality orthopedic shoes on the market and therefore asked Karin Marsh and Mats Törnberg to develop better orthopedic shoes. This laid the foundation for Material Consult AB to be started.

In addition to our self-developed shoe models that are produced with traditional craftsmanship, we also have the agency in Sweden for Bestard Mountain Boots and Drew Shoes.

Bestard Mountain Boots is a long-standing Spanish producer of shoes and boots suitable for hiking and outdoor activities, which always have Gore-Tex and Vibram soles. Our collaboration with Bestard dates back almost 30 years and we offer shoes and boots from Bestard to both adults and children, for both orthopedic purposes and for hiking. 

Drew Shoes is an american developer and producer of primarily rehabilitation shoes. From Drew Shoes we offer extra spacious shoes in 4W (4E) and 6E-lasts among other things.

In addition to high quality, we also offer great flexibility. The majority of our shoe models can be ordered in mixed sizes for right and left shoes, in different lastes or with other special requests regarding e.g. material and color! 
Since the beginning, our experience and range have grown, but despite this, Material Consult is still a small family business that cares about you as a customer. We always do our best to be available and give a personal treatment! We also do our best to always have our stock complete in order to offer fast deliveries. Another characteristic of our "smallness" is that you as a customer can always contact us with special requests, as we offer great flexibility! Therefore, it is important that if you as a customer have any questions, just contact us and we will help you!
